Am I Blogging Yet?
I just spent quite a long time composing my “About” page. If anyone reads it, let me know what you think. I never thought I’d have my own blog, but I’m getting a bit excited about the idea. There is something kind of fun about writing down things that are important to me or that I want to share with others, and getting feedback.
Banner event of the day (besides my first blog) is that my weight loss team at work remains in the number one position. Two more weeks, one more weigh in, and this competition will be concluded. Losing weight is what is most important to me, but winning the $120 prize for each member in our team of three wouldn’t be half bad either. Here’s hoping we stay in first place.
For tonight, as Bugs Bunny would say . . . “That’s all folks!”

Yay, first blog! You did a great job.
Read your about page – very nice! I’m sure you’ll love the world of blogging. I’ve already added you to my blog list on Becka’s Babble, and I get a good amount of traffic there, so if you’re wondering where some people come from, it might be from there!
Good to “see” you in the cyber world!
Love,
Becka

Great first post mom. The about page is also very good. I have two suggestions for the about page:
1) The first paragraph could be two… just a little hard to read so much text in one block. (yes, I’m nitpicking)
2) Make links whenever possible. For example, you could make “Jim” link to my blog, and “Becka” link to hers. Just highlight the text that you want to be a link and click on the link icon (looks like chain links). Then type in the URL (including the http part) and click ok. Voila… instant link.

I’m listening to Thom’s music as I write this. Talented guy your husband.
Heck yeah, you are blogging. Welcome to the wonderful wacky world that is blogging.
My suggestion is to do (write) what floats your boat and the people will come. You’ll see. You’ll blog hop, comment and then people will blog hop and comment on your page and pretty soon…shazaaammmm! You’ve got more email than you know what to do with.
Have fun.

Hello Luanne, I came across your site the other day. I’m a first cousin of Thom’s. My mother is Mae Tobin Caron who is 96 years of age. She was Aunt Betty’s older sister. We were saddened to hear of Aunt Betty’s passing but, know she is at rest now with the Lord. Our uncle George Tobin turned 93 on monday. he is doing well after back surgery a week ago. I love the picture of Aunt Betty that you posted & your loving thoughts about her. Blessings, Bonnie
